When you work in the recruitment industry for 15 years, you get to meet a lot of interesting people and that is what I love about it. I have been fortunate to work in two of the biggest cities in the world, London and Los Angeles. I have built multiple teams, recruited in several different markets, trained hundreds of consultants, and made lifelong friendships along the way.

I made the leap across the pond from my home city to the West Coast over 6 years ago where I now live with my wife and two kids.

With raise, my vision is to create a team of talented individuals that value and invest in the relationships they are building. I firmly believe that the human element of recruiting should be at the forefront of the work we do.

Originally hailing from East Texas, I made my way out to Los Angeles shortly after graduating from the University of Kansas - Rock Chalk Jayhawk!

After many years on the road knocking on doors in outside sales, I found my passion in talent consulting for construction and real estate professionals. What I love the most about the construction industry is the deep sense of pride in creating a tangible legacy, the importance of teamwork, and unbounded ingenuity.

Outside of work, I love spending time at the beach with friends, creating recipes with unexpected ingredients, reading literature that inspires new perspectives, hiking to catch an ocean view, hot yoga, and being a cat mom to Honey Bear and Toshi. My greatest joy in life is to illuminate potential, create meaningful connections, and help to change people’s lives for the better.

I’ve specialized in recruitment consulting for the construction and real estate development industries in the Southern California market over the last 6 years. I absolutely love connecting with people by learning about their life stories, values, and dreams. As the COO at raise, I lead our operations, which includes (but is not limited to) improving our processes, data integrity, growing our team, and looking for ways to enhance our client and candidate experience. The journey of this new role has been challenging and so rewarding.

The majority of my free time is spent with my family, which is currently centered around my toddler. We recently moved to South Orange County and have loved the slower pace, cleaner air, and nature all around us.

I believe life is about creating special moments to celebrate, progress over perfection, and finding joy in the little things.

Senior Consultant

Born and raised in Upstate New York, I grew up playing lacrosse and continued all the way throughout College. After graduating, I fulfilled a longtime goal of moving to the West Coast.

When I moved to California, I landed a role in recruiting and discovered my passion for working within the construction industry. 

Always leading with my number one value of authenticity, I have been able to help candidates across the country take significant steps forward in their careers. It has been an incredibly rewarding feeling to help my clients grow their companies and witness them accomplish impressive construction projects. 

Outside of work, you can find me at the gym or on early morning hikes. I also always make time for trying new restaurants, game nights with friends, and of course, quality time with my amazing chocolate lab (Jake!).

Consultant

Originally from sunny South Florida, Margaux made the move to Los Angeles three years ago. She earned her degree in Legal Studies with a Minor in Marketing from the University of Central Florida. Her background in competitive dance laid the foundation for her professional career, instilling teamwork, perseverance, and the drive to constantly push beyond her limits. These principles align perfectly with her work in recruitment, where Margaux thrives in connecting talented individuals with the right opportunities—an endeavor that continues to inspire her daily. Outside of work, Margaux enjoys staying active, going to the gym, lounging by the pool, hiking with friends, or discovering all that LA has to offer. An avid coffee lover, she embraces the vibrant energy of city life in LA!

Senior Consultant

When I was young, my family moved from Europe to LA where we eventually settled in Encino. I was raised with two brothers, one sister and my trusted bearded dragon - Bruce. I then headed out to Austin to attend the University of Texas to study International Relations before coming back to SoCal to pursue a career in sales.

After a few years in sales doing everything from knocking on doors selling solar to selling healthcare equipment, I began to understand my passion laid more with helping people than just selling a product. Recruitment offered me that opportunity. Fueled by a strong desire to help people improve their lives, I began recruiting and never looked back.

My approach to recruitment is a personal one where conversations are focused on being friendly, transparent, and informative. I bring a few years of Southern California construction experience to the table and am very familiar with the industry and market. I love all the different personalities in construction and really enjoy that at the end of the day, there is a tangible result of your work!

Cooking is a passion of mine, and my signature dish is Spicy Vodka Rigatoni, but I also do some killer stuffer peppers. My other passions include wrestling with my french bulldog (Pax), and spending time with family and friends. I am always interested in playing pickleball/tennis or hitting a workout class - especially if it's Barry's.

Marketing Coordinator

Originally from San Diego, I moved to California’s Central Coast to attend the University of California, Santa Barbara, where I recently earned my B.A in Sociology with minors in French and Applied Psychology. During my time at UCSB, I was deeply involved in campus life, holding different leadership positions within sorority life and other student organizations. I’ve always embraced a growth mindset and love finding different opportunities that push me beyond my comfort zone. Outside of academics, I enjoy traveling, running, swimming, baking, and anything cat related!
